Scott & Alicia’s Wedding in Redwood City, CA. was so much fun to capture. The ceremony site was at the Redwood City Elks Lodge which overlooks the green golf course and mountain side. Just a short drive from the San Francisco Bay, you could feel the coastal air.
When we arrived at the family home in which Alicia would be getting ready, we were welcomed and instantly made to feel right at home. Alicia and her bridesmaids were all wearing matching robes which always makes getting ready photos look so cute. Hair was being done by Suzanne from Indigo Salon in San Carlos and makeup by one of Alicia’s two sisters. Before getting Alicia into her wedding gown, she had a surprise gift for her parents. Mom got a sweet necklace and Dad a tie with a sweet saying imprinted on the back: “Dad, thank you for walking by my side today and always.” After quick bridesmaids photos in the backyard and groomsmen photos at the lodge, it was time for the ceremony. Officiated by their long time family priest, it was a beautiful wedding in Redwood City, CA.
Introduced as husband and wife, Scott & Alicia were married and ready to celebrate with all their family and friends. The reception hall was gorgeous with draping orchid centerpieces in tall narrow vases on each table, created by mother of the bride’s cousin. Catered by California Catering Company, you could smell the food and it was making us hungry it smelled so good. Accompanied by the family wine, it was simply delicious. As the night went on the excitement continued and you could feel the love for these two as everyone celebrated!
