Matthew and Cambria’s Garden Wedding in Chico, California

The wedding of Matthew & Cambria was nothing short of gorgeous. The brother of the bride spent over a year planning their day down to the very last detail. You could really see all the love that went into planning their wedding day. This backyard wedding in Chico, CA. turned into the most magical garden wedding. Roses were in bloom and everything was green with several archways leading you around the backyard. Wine bottles were turned into lanterns as centerpieces, burning candle torches and twinkle lights were all over the place. It was truly a beautiful sight!

By far the most gorgeous part of the entire day was the bride, Cambria, in her wedding gown and cathedral veil. The slight pink dress with flowers etched into the tulle was stunning and was so much fun to photograph! Her wedding day hair style was crafted by Cambria’s good friend, Jillian. She is such a professional: even after the veil came out, Cambria’s hair was still locked into place. Makeup was done by the bride herself and I don’t think it could have been any better!

The groom, Matthew, looked so dapper in a tan tux with his brown boots. What I was super impressed with was his boutonniere: this was the first time I have seen a magnetic back used to attach it to the lapel rather than with those long, sharp pins. It was so cool! Excellent job Flowers By Rachelle! I hope to see this more often.

This duo decided they wanted to do a first seeing before their ceremony. This is always helpful to get a majority of the photos done beforehand and then everyone can enjoy the reception sooner! The love these two have for one another is so clear in all its wonderfulness. The other amazing thing about a first seeing is it helps relieve some of the ceremony stress that inevitably occurs. These two had so much fun during their ceremony, the vows were hilarious and everyone was laughing it up! It really is amazing to be there to capture so many different emotions in one day.

The dinner was so delicious, especially Grandma’s secret cheesy potato recipe served up in delightful mini mason jars. After clearing their plates, everyone was ready to dance and celebrate this couple’s love. And with the amazing DJ styling of The Wedding DJ Company, they were set up for a fun night!

  1. Matt and Camy’s wedding was nothing short of phenomenal. Since I live across the street I know how much work the family’s put into each detail and it was certainly worth it. I’ve been to more that a few weddings in my life but this one was special in every detail and more importantly in the love and respect that was evident between bride and groom.

May you share a long and loving life together…………………

Greg, Debby,Keaton, and Michael, and all the other family members who worked tirelessly to make this happen, you totally knocked it out of the park!
