Six years ago one of my oldest friends, Kevin, met the love of his life at the Nugget Rib Cook Off here in Reno NV, Ashlee. Over the years watching them together we all knew it was a matter of time before they would tie the knot. In September of this year, a hike in Yosemite, to half dome, was in their plans. As They reached the final stretch of their hike, both out of breath and stunned by the view, Kevin Pulled out a ring for Ashlee. She knew the question and he knew the answer, Just don’t drop the ring was the most important reaction!
Ashlee and I were chatting and she had her heart set on photos during the fall. With the changes of the seasons happening so quick around here we quickly planned a day that would work for all of us. A special meadow above where Kevin grew up, in Truckee, was the perfect place for their engagement photos. Catching the Aspen trees in full color and allowing their dogs to run around, pose in and photo bomb as many pictures as possible was exactly what these two wanted for their fall engagement session.
My heart is so full for these two, as they begin this next journey in life. Looking forward to their wedding day so we can party and celebrate with all your family and friends
